Experience more peace, tranquility and crystal clarity of mind?
Then it is time for your to take a “retreat.” Planned for one weekend afternoon…choose a Saturday or Sunday session.
IN HOME GUIDED MINI-RETREAT:
Hi it’s Viv, I know the power of going on a “retreat,” I’ve done many meditation retreats and each one changes you in some way. Usually you have to go away to the countryside and stay in center where food is made for you and you are guided.
Post-Covid, we’ve realized some things are better at home! My intention is to co-create with you- a space in your own home where you can do a partial day guided meditation retreat!
Afternoon Schedule:
The times listed include some talking/introduction as well the time practicing.
Introduction & Mindfulness Meditation I. (45 min.)
LUNCH Break w/ your prepared lunch. Mindful Eating Practice. (45 min)
BREAK (15 min)
Intro & Walking Meditation II. (Done Inside) (30 min.)
Mindfulness Meditation III or Chakra Meditation. (30 min.)
Quiet Journal Time+ Sharing & Close.

Some Testimonials...
“This retreat was truly a gift, and it helped restore my physical, mental, and spiritual energy. The experience showed me how spiritual practices can renew my spirit during challenging times.
Viv offered a wonderful balance of sitting meditation, walking meditation, mindful eating, and reflection.
Her gentle and insightful guidance gave me powerful support, and helped me clarify my goals and priorities.”
-Lucinda, Tutor
My experience with the mini retreat was much needed. I felt great benefits days later; deep sleep and a desire to do more mindful eating. I highly recommend this experience, especially if you need to reset your mind and body.
Genae D., Yoga teacher.
“Patient and considerate, Viv provided a useful introductory course on meditation. I especially appreciate how she effectively explains salient concepts from a non-religious perspective.
-CT Chan Post-Doc, Cornell University
“I very much enjoyed working with Vivinne. Her meditation sessions have a relaxed, friendly atmosphere, and I benefited from learning basic meditation techniques such as the body scan and walking meditation. She helped me deal with stress and sleeping problems, and I can certainly recommend her as a meditation instructor.”
-Tom S. Professor
“Viv’s approach to meditation instruction is thorough, gentle, and grounded in a deep understanding of simple relaxation techniques. As someone who had taken mindfulness-based meditation classes before but had not kept up with my practice, I was inspired by Viv’s example and guidance to make a commitment to daily meditation.
Her instruction has transformed the way I react in the moment to stress, allowing me to be more compassionate and patient with others.

F.A.Q'S (Frequently Asked Questions)
Who is this for?
This is not a “training” in meditation and exactly how to do it (see my 8 week live training for that.)
Instead it is a practice retreat for those who already have a mindfulness meditation practice. For example you already can do mindfulness of the breath and mindfulness of whatever arises (thoughts, feelings, emotions) and you can “sit” for 20-30 minutes.
Email: assistant@intheflowofmagic.com, if questions.
No, not at all. The approx. 3 hours 15 minute retreat is broken up and specially planned to stretch you but leave you feeling amazing.
The schedule again (also see above right) is: you’ll be in your space practicing with the sound of my voice/visual and occasionally looking at the Zoom screen:
Guided:
- seated mindfulness,
- lunch break (mindful eating,)
- 15 min. break
- walking meditation -inside,
- second seated meditation.
- Finally time to journal and share and wrap up.
You can definitely benefit from this mini-retreat, as this will bring you back to feeling the joys of practice in a deep way.
No not at all, you can meditate quite well sitting in a straight back chair with cushions if needed at your back.
No you don’t. If you don’t have a meditation cushion you can use any pillows you have-folded if need be. Or sit in a chair.
You do will need to turn off alarms, cell phone etc. (or put on vibrate.)
You might want a shawl or sweatshirt if you start to cool off.
