How to Use The Energy of Chakras to Heal? Online Chakra Course

I’ve experienced so much healing in my sacral chakra emotionally and physically.

V: Healer heal thyself, so this is for spiritual women like yourself who really want to grow and transform and achieve their goals in life.

So I invited Genae here. She also goes by Gigi, so I might stumble because I’m like am I going to say Genae, I’m going to say Gigi. So welcome, welcome Genae! How are you?

J: I’m doing well. Hello!

V: Tell us a little background- where you started, in terms of your spirituality.

J: So during the pandemic, I decided that I was going to become a yoga teacher. Well, I was going to be certified as a yoga teacher. I really didn’t have it on my mind to actually become a teacher at that time. Started learning about the chakras. I started to actually incorporate chakra healing into my life. Doing this alone was kind of made me off balance a bit. I started trying to reach out to find others to help me on this journey. Youtube was a major source for me and that is really where I came into contact with you.

V: Gigi ended up taking my chakra healing course and really really diving in, so can you tell us a little bit about taking the course and also just like what you got out of it. Any insights? Again, the theme of heal or heal thyself.

Benefits of the Chakra Activation Course

J: I have gained a lot of energy from you, know working with the acupuncture points and your specific meditations.

V: Which are in the chakra course I give and those are not on the channel. Those are completely in the chakra course which I just want to say, I was calling Chakras for Challenging times. The names I might change that because I really, it’s about manifestation. It’s about healing.

G: When I took your course, one of the most interesting things for me was you relating the acupuncture points to the chakras. That blew my mind! It really helped me to tap into the actual chakra because I was doing the meditation and that was working and I felt like that was doing something for me. The acupuncture points really helped to bring my awareness to each of the chakras.

V: That is what sets, one of the things that sets the chakra course. Apart is that I mix in my training as a massage therapist with and the meridian therapy. And I’m giving you like multiple layers of information and, and you’re not the only one.

G: That was a major part of it and I started to get really creative with it and I started meditating on these acupuncture points which intensified it even more.

Why She Started Yoga:

I started doing yoga when I was pregnant with my older son. He’ll be four years old this year. That I needed to do something that was gentle but to keep me with my athletic ability because I was an athlete in high school. I ran track in high school, and I was a runner before I became pregnant.

It was just really hard for me to keep up with the running even though some people were like, “yeah, you can still continue to do it” because I was running in the early stages of pregnancy.

V: I see.

G: I was told that I could continue as long as I didn’t feel like I was pushing myself too hard. It didn’t feel good for me.

G: I didn’t really understand that I was dealing with depression at that time. Post-pregnancy even before that, I had trauma in my life that wasn’t categorized as trauma. I didn’t understand that I was depressed and no one had ever given me a diagnosis.

V: So you were doing yoga sort of intuitively on your own then all of this moved you to take YTT.

G: So for chakra course, I was extremely excited to take this course because you had advertised it to us as you know, a way to help you cope with stressful times.

V: Yes.

G: And I felt like you know, I felt like I was dealing with so much stress and I said, “Oh yeah, this is more than just teaching me about chakras. I’m already familiar with that.”

V: One thing there though a lot, because I do find exactly what you just said Gigi, like “Oh, I’m already familiar with that”.

You know, a lot of people they could tell you the colors and this, and oh this crystal but they haven’t done anything with the information. I think there are many women watching this who, “Oh yeah, I know about the chakras”. That’s like, I mean I always give this analogy that’s like saying, “you know, I’ve read about love yeah. I mean I understand it”, or like, I like to use sex as an example but they’ve never actually done it. So it’s like you understand intellectually but that’s of really like almost no benefit. What was your favorite chakra? Was it sacral because a lot of women of course, a lot of us have womb issues and you were coming out of your pregnancy, so was that your favorite chakra or?

G: That was my favorite chakra. I worked on it so much. I’ve experienced so much healing with my sacral chakra emotionally and physically.

However, I’ve been encouraged to move past that to the solar plexus because every time I hear you say this, “chakra is so underrated for women”. I really want to help influence women to get to tap into that solar plexus chakra. It’s all, it’s about power as women in this world. We have struggled with having power.

How the Chakra Work Helped her Take Action on her Goals:

V: Right.

G: Whether it be in a young age, whether it be in your job or your household, your family, we struggle with power. I was able to tap into my power actually and I feel like I have the willpower to do certain things that I’ve been wanting to do for years.

V: Here, as really witness to that goddesses, like you know, she, in the chakra course. Now Gigi is also in my, a mastermind that I have that’s by application so I know her from both of those.

You know, she was stuck like you know, why do you take these courses right she knew she was a little bit stuck and as she said, “We’ve all dealt with trauma and I think it is especially for us black women. Women of color, it’s just depression is not talked about as much or we’re just told just get over it. Just keep going, you know, be strong, pray and just keep going you know…”

G: And that’s what I was going there.

V: Yeah, but we’re not given necessarily tools or support so I saw Gigi again, like she was tapping into that third chakra. Just really start to move forward. I see you starting your business and everything and she’s putting herself out there which goddesses that’s what the third chakra is about. It’s about personal power, okay?

It’s not that we’re gonna dominate anyone as women, that’s not what it’s about. You can be feminine and have a feminine power. So Gigi has gifts like you do watching this right, you’re a spiritual woman, you may want to start a healing practice.

And Gigi is like moved from that place of like not being ready to taking action. So tell us a little bit about what you’re putting out into the world now.

G: I didn’t go into my yoga teacher training with the idea wanting to actually be a teacher. Once people found out about that, they started asking when are you gonna teach?

V: And goddesses I have to share this with you that is, it is said in the yoga tradition that you should not start teaching until people ask you and I remember that from decades ago. Reading that and it was like in a traditional text, it wasn’t just like somebody on a blog. It’s like you people will ask you to teach this when it’s your time and I remember being like, “oh well” and sure enough just as Gigi’s saying, I was self-studying. I’m really diligent student and I was practicing and I was very like “good” at the asanas and everything and then people just were like, so when are you gonna teach and I was like “Ok”.

And I think I started before my YTT Gigi and I just as I told you and I was encouraging her in the program. I said “Gigi, find a way. Make it so”. I was teaching in a park, I’m so proud of you. So tell us a little more about what you will be teaching.

J: I signed up as an instructor on a platform called Moxie. I’ll also be featured on their “Love your Body Week”. Love your body week is to help celebrate women during women’s month because this is March. This is…

V: As we’re filming this.

J: March 22nd is when it starts and it’s through the 28th and I’ll be teaching 3 classes.

V: Great! So if you’re watching this later, you can still check Gigi out and tell us what your classes are about.

J: I specialize in training complete beginners to yoga. That’s what I’ve been, those are the people who I’ve been working with. It’s very exciting to me and I get this really big adrenaline rush from teaching people who have no idea what’s going on.

V: I think you’re going to be so wonderful in getting people, you know, into these you know, body, mind practices. And so the ones you’re going to do for this week in women’s history month, are they different?

J: They are a little different. It’s not just for beginners. It is still a gentle practice. My yoga class for the Love your Body Week or Moxie will be yoga for self-love. So for me in particular, it’ll be about heart chakra and forgiveness.

V: That sounds so amazing!

J: So I do want to work with women postpartum because I see a lot of the yoga classes that are supposed to be for beginner, they don’t really help in this area, in the stomach area and in the sacral area for women. They really might push you a little bit too hard, I see a lot of women working too hard in this area of the body.

V: I agree, I agree.

J: I was into research about you know, how to deal properly in these areas of the body. So I do have program for postpartum women in the summer. And for me, postpartum doesn’t mean that you just had your baby eight months ago or a year ago. If you’re having issues with healing as a woman after giving childbirth, then that program would be for you. It doesn’t matter if you’re three weeks, 30 weeks, 30 years, okay? It is for you.

V: If women feel they need healing from some sort of like a child basically childbirth trauma which is a thing. Gigi I really feel in heart as an intuitive that, that’s going to be your area. That’s going to be a real nice area for you to offer your gifts as a mom of two. You have two children. Also your athletic background, so I think you bring a lot to that space plus your sensitivity to energy which I do think, did that develop also during the course? It seems like there was growth for you from taking the chakra course all the way to the crown, right?

J: Yes, as someone who is an empath, I am able to protect my energy a lot better because that was something that I was dealing with..

V: You were a little bit too open energetically so…

J: Right.

V: From the training you took with me that you were able boundary a little bit better. The results you saw were your ability now to move forward is heightened as well.

J: Exactly!

V: So Gigi, is then and along with several other women who took the chakra course who are entrepreneurs. They’re now taking what I call 4M. It stands for money, mindset, magic and it’s a mastermind. It’s a small group and it’s just by application only. So it’s really, I mean we have, I have one woman int here who is not an entrepreneur but it’s for women who want to increase their money and start from a spiritual basis, law of attraction basis. Whoops! We lost Gigi.

Next video, I’ll share about the Money Mindset Program.

J: You can find me on my instragram which is Gigi the Empress.
